Rewilding Europe is delighted to announce that the Dunsany Reserve, part of the Dunsany Estate in Ireland, has just joined the European Rewilding Network. As the first Irish member, this takes network membership to 61 across 27 countries. We caught up with Randal Plunkett (officially Lord Dunsany) and an Irish film director and producer, to learn more about the reserve and his reasons for rewilding.

Rewilding Europe is now offering a unique opportunity for a dynamic and visionary rewilding enthusiast in the early stages of his or her professional career (under the age of 30) to join its Supervisory Board.
To celebrate the recent relaunch of our website, Rewilding Europe is conducting interviews with prominent persons in conservation and rewilding across Europe. Following on from Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, we are delighted to present British naturalist, nature photographer, television presenter and author Chris Packham as the second interviewee of this series.
Rewilding Europe is excited to announce the publication of its Annual Review for 2017. With a revamped layout and structure, the review marks the start of a new five-year period in our initiative.

Today, Rewilding Europe launched a new and important initiative. A small assembly of prominent and respected individuals from Europe and abroad has joined us as founding members of the Rewilding Europe Circle – a group that will champion and support our initiative in the widest sense possible. The Circle includes members from nine different countries, representing a wide range of skills, expertise and networks.
