The Rewilding Romania team have signed partnership agreements with Retezat and Domogled-Valea Cernei National Parks. This will support scaled-up rewilding efforts across more than 105,000 hectares of additional land.

The Dutch Postcode Lottery has awarded Rewilding Europe a special grant of 2.2 million euros for the European Wildlife Comeback Fund. A huge boost for wildlife comeback in Europe, the grant will be used to support efforts to restore wildlife populations across Europe, with wide-ranging benefits for nature and people.

Rewilding Europe has signed a major financial partnership with the Ecological Restoration Fund. The funding will support and scale up practical rewilding and enhance the work of the European Wildlife Comeback Fund, thereby helping to realise the ambitions set out in our “Strategy 2030”.
