  • What is it?

World_Wildlife_Day_logoWorld Wildlife Day, celebrated across the world on March 3, recognizes and rejoices in the stunning beauty of our wild flora and fauna. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the need for and benefits of conservation and rewilding, and reinforces the dire need to step up the fight against wildlife crime, which has damaging economic, environmental and social impacts.

To commemorate this important day, Rewilding Europe is launching “ReWild4Wildlife”,  its very first Instagram Photo Contest. We warmly invite all nature lovers to participate and post their favourite wildlife snaps, starting right now!

  • How to enter?

Sticker 03Anyone with an Instagram account can participate.  Visit and like Rewilding Europe’s profile on Instagram, publish your best wildlife photo on your Instagram feed, and mark it with #ReWild4Wildlife and #WorldWildlifeDay. The contest starts today and ends on March 1, 2017 at 1500 CET.

  • Who selects the winners?

Staffan Widstrand, one of the four founder members of Rewilding Europe and 11 times winner of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, will select the three winning entries.
