Today, Rewilding Europe has launched a new safari trips section on its website, presenting various safari trip offers to our rewilding areas throughout Europe. Travellers, nature lovers, families, explorers and others who want to experience these destinations and desire to reconnect with nature can now book their preferred itineraries. The safari trips section will be expanded with additional tailor made offers on a regular basis.
The word ‘safari’ brings intrigue and excitement to everyone’s mind; an adventure, a discovery, traveling to an unknown place filled with the unexpected that nature will bring. It is a journey, one of self-discovery, a family outing or a romantic getaway; a safari encompasses so many different things to different people.
Over the last five years, Rewilding Europe has been exploring the rewilding landscapes in great depth, and has rediscovered the secrets and special features that these areas have to offer. As part of this process we have redesigned the safaris page with a new look making it more functional, informative and user friendly.
The safari trips now offered at the Rewilding Europe’s safaris platform are all very high in experiential value. Our safaris will give you a unique experience of the rewilding area we are working in and a special insight into its wild nature, wildlife, local traditions, cuisine and history. Each safari has its own special flavour, variation in offering and attraction. This could include watching bears in the Croatian Velebit Mountains in the morning and dolphins in the afternoon, dining under the stars in Portuguese Western Iberia, or searching for the great variety of raptors in the Bulgarian Rhodope Mountains. With direct links to the areas and business owners, Rewilding Europe’s teams have handpicked these safaris to match your imagination. Local business partners we are working with have ties and affiliations with the ongoing rewilding efforts and guests can travel knowing they will make a difference in the rewilding journey, benefiting nature, the local community and the area itself.
At the same time, we are planning to get more information about you – the traveller – in order to better equip the safari trip of your choice and preference. Soon, the new Travel Club membership will be launched, with more relevance, personal engagement and amazing giveaways to get the imagination going.
