A new documentary about Danube Delta will launch tomorrow, 30 January.
Titled ”Danube Delta – the paradise almost lost”, the film is meant to inform and to raise awareness about the richness and the diversity of species and habitates that are found in this most important wetland in Europe.
The film is made by a national NGO Salvaţi Dunărea şi Delta (Save the Danube and the Delta) in partnership with the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority, in a project financed by EU structural funds, “Implementation of Adequate Management Systems for Nature Protection”. The project has an integrated approach which aims to achieve a deeper analysis of the problems and finding solutions to maintain long-term deltaic ecosystem.
