Rewilding Europe renews partnership with Conservation Capital

Rewilding Europe and Conservation Capital have renewed their partnership for another three years, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding today. Both organisations are continuing their cooperation to show that the return of wild nature and wildlife in Europe provides a huge opportunity for developing nature-based economies.

Guslice & Melnice Honey in Velebit receive a REC loan

Rewilding Europe Capital is pleased to announce the completion of a €30,000 loan to Guslice & Melnice Honey in the Velebit rewilding area, Croatia. The loan will support the business to expand their existing honey production capabilities, diversify their product range to include specialist honeys, and work towards creating alternative products and activities that benefit rewilding processes.

The Central Apennines team off to work, Marsican bear as a first focal point

On January 9, the newly established Italian NGO “Rewilding Apennines” signed a contract with Rewilding Europe, about a 3-year workplan, developed by the two organisations together during the last months of 2013. This after the official announcement the past October during WILD 10, the World Wilderness Congress in Salamanca, Spain, that the Central Apennines have been selected as the sixth area within the Rewilding Europe initiative.
