Run for a wilder Europe

at the Nuveen South Downer Relay Run

On 11th September, runners will take on the challenge of a 64 km relay run from Harting Down to Brighton across the South Downs National Park. As part of the event, you have the chance to support Rewilding Europe and help build a wilder, more resilient future for nature and people across Europe. Every donation made through this page directly supports our work to restore nature at scale, bringing wildlife back and helping communities thrive alongside it.

About Rewilding Europe

Rewilding Europe is working to make Europe a wilder place, with more space for wildlife, wild landscapes, and natural processes. Our vision is a continent where the natural world is allowed to take care of itself — where large, connected landscapes support thriving wildlife, healthy ecosystems, and people who benefit from a closer connection to the wild.

We currently work across a network of eleven rewilding landscapes throughout Europe, partnering with local communities, businesses, and organisations to restore nature at scale, while helping to build nature-based economies that benefit both people and wildlife.

Thank you to everyone taking part in the Nuveen South Downer Relay Run. Every step you take and every pound you raise helps us restore nature across Europe, creating wilder landscapes that benefit wildlife, climate, and people alike. We couldn’t do it without your support — thank you!
