After a decade of work, Rewilding Europe is now stepping up its operations. We have developed an exciting new strategy and set ambitious goals for 2030. The Financial Controller will play an important role in the further growth of Rewilding Europe and its commercial entities by ensuring it is managed well financially through timely, accurate and reliable recording and processing of financial transactions and by supporting decision making (analysis, reporting and advice).
The focus of the Financial Controller is the administration and financial management of Rewilding Europe’s commercial entities (with the Foundation being the focus of the Finance & Operations Manager). The Financial Controller will report to the Finance & Operations Director and be a member of the Finance & Operations team of Rewilding Europe. The Financial Controller will work closely together with the Enterprise team and will help develop the financial function in our partner organisations.
Job description and qualifications
We are looking for a motivated professional with 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial control. You have a strong financial background, an eye for detail and a trustworthy and solid approach. You have the experience and skills to describe, streamline and (re)design financial workflows and processes.
