Are you passionate about using impactful communications to help Europe’s wild nature thrive? As we continue our mission to make Europe a wilder place, we are now seeking a Communications Officer.


After a decade of work, Rewilding Europe is now stepping up its operations. We have developed an exciting new strategy and set ambitious goals for 2030. With Rewilding Europe growing and striving, the role of the Communications Officer is firstly to support Rewilding Europe’s Communications Team in their various communication activities and secondly to bring internal communications to the next level.

The Communications Officer will act as a connector, communicator and spider in the web. The Communications Officer reports to the Head of Communications and works closely together with the Communications Team and Finance & Operations Team (with regards to internal communications).

Job description and qualifications

We are looking for an early career communications officer, someone who is positive, practical and pro-active at heart. You are a strong connector with good knowledge of state-of-the-art communications tools and preferably a background in or knowledge of ecology and nature. You will support the organisation of events, prepare social media posts, produce promotional materials and maintain and develop our image and footage database.
